stringy cm before bfp

I read online that is normal to have yellow discharge before AF. If AF doesnt arrive by monday I think I will call the clinic and ask that they do a blood test so I know before wednesday!! Can someone please tell me if this could be something. I did, and still have a lot of that discharge. Ill update you when I do test again. Took a test the first day and it was negative, took one at 5 days and it was a blaring positive. I do have a few days of increased CM, but for the most part it's a normal amount.
